Overview[]

Alliance Showdown (BETA) is a weekly event that you can participate in. To be eligible to participate, you must; be a member of an alliance, have at least a level ten (10) HQ, and have at least ten (10) members of your alliance registered. Troops cannot be killed during this event, and registering will not use a march or your troops; these will all still be available for you to use in-game. Alliance members can leave the alliance at any point during Showdown; however, an alliance that is registered will not be able to disband until the event is over.
The event occurs over two (2) days and includes five (5) different rounds with a twelve (12) hour gap between each. In each round, there are three (3) different battles occurring simultaneously in the left lane, middle lane, and right lane. The goal of the event is to collect as many flags as possible, which you can obtain by winning the battles in the lanes. An alliance wins a round by collecting two (2) of the three (3) flags, and the event is won by collecting the most amount of flags.
Registration[]
Registration occurs over three (3) days where each alliance member must individually sign up for the event. Registering is very simple. First is you click on the register button as shown in the picture below:

After clicking the register button, you are to choose what lane you should go, each is represented with the blue figurines. Each figurine represents a different lane, and often alliances will have rules to decide who should register for each, so make sure to check with your alliance leaders. If you click on one of the figurines, you will see the "Send Troops" button, which will direct you to go to the March window and choose the troops you will deploy for the showdown.

There is a maximum registration number of twenty (20) for each lane, any other alliance member who registers will be listed as a reserve. Members can check if they are listed in the "Troops" button.

If a member is successful in registering, it will shows in the event page that "You have registered"

During the registration period, you can switch lanes and update your marches and heroes as many times as you like.

Managing Lanes[]
Alliance leaders cannot move individual alliance members but can manage lanes once registration has ended. This means that lanes can be swapped to a more advantageous position for your alliance to win. The alliance leaders can use the twelve (12) hour gap between each battle to replay the previous battles and rearrange the lanes accordingly.

Battle Mechanics[]
Chiefs are ranked from one (1) to twenty (20) in each lane. The higher the showdown score, the higher the rank. When the battles start, chiefs fight in reverse rank order, with rank twenty (20) fighting first. Each chief can fight up to two (2) battles before they are removed from the lane. If the chief loses their first battle, then they will not be able to fight a second. At the end of each battle, the alliance with the most chiefs left wins the flag and that lane.

After the fight when all the five(5) rounds of duel:
- Alliance are ranked according to the scores of the league in the group
- The Alliance who wins most of the flags will earn three (3) points
- The Alliance who got no flags will have zero points
- An alliance that matches a vacant battle will earn three (3) points
- If the points are the same, alliance are ranked according to the number of flags captured by the league and the strength of the enemy forces killed
Tips & Tricks[]
For chiefs:
- Register with VIP active, as this can buff your stats.
- When you register, ensure that you are using your war talents, and prioritize your stats effectively. There is no set formation for this as each player has different stats, so it is best to do this based upon your own battle reports.
- Register for Showdown after using the Massive March talent so that you have a greater amount of troops. You could also use the March Capacity buff if you have spare Biocaps.
For alliance leaders:
- Once your alliance has registered, check the raid scores of your members and ask them to switch lanes if necessary. As an alliance only needs to win two (2) lanes to win the round, it is best to split your strongest players evenly between two lanes and send your weaker players to the third.
- When switching lanes between rounds, make sure to check what switches the enemy alliance has made and try to counter them.
- Leave the lane switching until the last minute so that you do not get counter-picked.
Rewards & Ranking[]
There are several different ranks that an alliance can achieve in Showdown. To move up a rank, an alliance must obtain five (5) stars, which are awarded based upon alliance ranking in the event. The higher the rank of the alliance, the better rewards you get. When your alliance reach the Diamond tier and got the last ranking, you'll lost a star. Same as in the Master Tier, ranking four (4) and five (5) will lost 1 star and ranking six (6) will lost 2 star which will let your alliance ranked down in tier. In the table below, you'll see the tier rewards, the star gains and lost, and the awards for each tier and ranking;
