INTRODUCTION STORY[]

SHOW/HIDE INTRODUCTION STORY
It has been nine weeks since its herd left it behind. In the first few days, it woke up alone and in fear day after day - hungry and cold without its mother's embrace. Things had taken a turn so quickly. It didn't know what to do but howl out in despair in the snowfield, waiting for its kind to return. It waited and waited, but only the cold wind answered its call.


Climate change and unforgiving natural law forced its herd to migrate south. It was young and weak, and so animal instinct demanded that it be left to die. For nine weeks, it had been hiding in a cave, feeding on moss that it scraped from the stone wall using its shriveled fingers. The footprints its herd left behind had been buried by the snow. It didn't have the courage to take a leap of faith and try to change the situation.

The cold stone cave became a prison for this little beast that struggled to understand the course of its fate. It seemed that it would be kept dormant here for thousands of years to come. On the last night of the ninth week, the sky was full of stars. When it looked up one last time, it saw beautiful northern lights, dreaming how it would wake from its misery in a sea of warm, green plants when spring arrived. Then, it fell into eternal sleep with that little dream still alive in its mind.

Thousands of years later, another race would evolve enough intelligence to rule the world, build fortresses, and transcend physical matter itself. But intelligence wouldn't teach them to fear death or help them understand this millennia old feeling of loneliness. It was at peace in death until suddenly, agony and torment came back to haunt it. In the chaos of darkness, it could feel its body swelling and twisting, its blood bursting, and a sharp spike puncturing into its body and injecting some cold slime. It felt like it was being rebuilt only to be destroyed and torn apart once more. Rage filled its body, interrupting its slumber and forcing it to awaken.

Waking, it found itself in a strange, cramped, unknown place. Its dream, that had traveled thousands of years, was shattered. It opened its eyes only to see an array of disorienting things. The chains clinging to its body brought terror and fear. It heard a twisted, jarred laugh. It felt the attention of eyes filled with greed. It had transcended beyond the limit of the past and future. The limit of life and death. In reaction, its animal instinct started running amok, raging against everything that was happening.

And so, it broke its shackles. The scientific modification gave it so much strength that it effortlessly broke the fortress and escaped the metal cage. Ammo and gunpowder couldn't do a thing to stop it from finding its home. Day and night it raced, causing rumors to spread of a "Behemoth" lurking in the wild.

STORY BEHIND PROJECT BEHEMOTH[]

SHOW/HIDE STORY BEHIND PROJECT BEHEMOTH
The cold wave rages and signs of life wither away. When the sun shines again, people are amazed to find that beasts frozen since the days of old have emerged once more. They are to ancient viruses which miraculously possess the innate ability to survive against all odds.


Dr. Ripley has been working at GigaCorp as a senior technician seeking to intensify the power of the Holy Wrath. He wants to take advantage of GigaCorp's technology to extract viruses from ancient beasts and integrate them with the Infected to attempt to cultivate the strongest force that the world has ever seen. He calls his undertaking Project Behemoth. In his mind, once his experiment succeeds, Ripley and the Holy Wrath will take over the entire world.

The corpse of an ape, frozen since the end of the last Ice Age, becomes Ripley's first research subject and the first Behemoth to be cultured in his lab. Ripley calls it "Behemoth Mk I". After a series of experiments, the ape's corpse is fused with R13 cells and regain its fury. It's heavy artillery makes it an immense power source for Ripley's project.

But after one of the experiments, the ape managed to escape and enter the survivors' camp. Sarge and his friends captured the ape and kept it in a Behemoth Lab, where it was put to good use by the Chiefs.

STORY BEHIND THE CREATION OF THE BEHEMOTH[]

SHOW/HIDE STORY WHAT MAKE IT BEHEMOTH
Ripley's Project Behemoth uses ancient viruses and the R13 virus in an attempt to stimulate genetic energy and mutate these beasts, yet their power doesn't merely get enhanced by these mutations. The Behemoth's power is enhanced thanks to a serum produced by extracting genetic samples frozed in the corpses of ancient creatures and culturing them in the lab.


But there is a limit to these power enhancements, because the genes hold everything inside of them, and the bloodline limits of the genes must be somehow exceeded if continuous power enhancements are to be achieved. After making very precise calculations, Ripley discovered that by infusing the Behemoth cells, he was able to stimulate the bloodline, and theoretically exceed their genetic limitations by factor of four, and each breakthrough amounts to evolution of the bloodline.

Ripley names these five Behemoths whose bloodlines were evolved as: Bane, Fury, Calamity, Tyrant, and Death.

When the power and bloodline are enhanced the mutation of the ancient viruses and the R13 virus are fused, they can be equipped with just the right weapons to awaken insurmountable power. To harness this insurmountable power, a Power Supply is needed to train and store the power on a regular basis. After the power has been stored 16 times, a special kind of golden dust should be used to awaken more power. In order to adapt the Behemoths to different environments, researchers have developed an active skin that allows them to take on different physical appearances.
