BIOCAPS[]

Overview[]

We usually accumulate quite some Biocaps as there are various events and activities where we get them as rewards. in the long run. Biocaps are the main in-game currency, so there are many ways to spend it. Here you can see where you can spend them and so you can decide by yourself if you spend them or not.

REMINDER
This article brings some suggestions and tips, but it's up to you following them or not. Keep in mind that you are the one who decides what to do or how to spend your Biocaps.

Where you don't need to spend Biocaps[]

Speedups[]

As you can easily obtain speedups from daily rewards and event rewards, it's not really necessary to spend Biocaps on them.

Combat Buffs[]

Located under Settlement Buffs in your headquarter building, spend Biocaps on them depends more on the event you are joining to than anything else. As Combat buffs cost a lot, events where you can be a rally leader worth activate them. If you won't be a rally leader, you don't necessary need them activated because everyone else who joins the rally will adapt the rally leader stats.

There are some PvP events where Combat Buffs may be usefull, like Reservoir Raid or solo attacks (which may happen most during SvS or KE, for instance).

One of the most usefull buffs is the Recon Jammer. When activated, enemies can’t see how many troops you have or whether you have any reinforcements.

Chief Stamina and Squad Stamina[]

You will get stamina potions over time in old states and in newer states they will be added straight to your stamina bar and, guess what? Yeah, they are expensive too. So buy stamina using Biocaps is not really necessary. Some players spend Biocaps to buy stamina to finish Intel missions, but it's a personal choice.

Where you can spend your Biocaps[]

You can buy items that are hard to obtain (see below) and preferably completing mission tasks at the same time so you will get some rewards by spending Biocaps.

Chief Gear items[]

Sometimes there will be chief gear items in the Daily Deals offers and it is always good to grab those with Biocaps and the items in these offers cost less than normal. When you are short of a few for an upgrade, you may want to use Biocaps to buy Advanced Alloy and Adhesive. But try not to spend all your Biocaps just for chief gear items as there are other items worth spending Biocaps on too.

Ray’s Place event[]

Ray’s Place event gives the highest ratio of legendary hero fragments for your Biocaps. Try to at least reach the 15 or 35 spins each time to get bonus hero fragments. The hero available depends on your state’s age and advancement. As your state gets older better heroes will be made available. When you are in a new state, the reward in Ray’s Place is Maddie & Frank. They can be obtained for free from the Plague Zone daily reward crate and Intel missions. It’s best to wait for better heros before using Biocaps on Ray’s Place.

Value Voucher Event[]

Value Voucher event is another place where you can get legendary hero fragments using Biocaps. Each time the event arises, use 15,000 Biocaps to exchange for 100 Value Vouchers then choose a legendary hero fragment of your choice to trade your vouchers. As your state grows older, more heroes will be released in Value Voucher event and older heroes will be discounted.

Settlement Buffs[]

As noted earlier before, combat buffs are mostly not necessary unless you are the strongest in your alliance and a rally leader. There are some buffs which are worth spending your Biocaps on.

Recon Jammer[]

is a must during any PvP events like Capital Clash event and Reservoir Raid event.

Gathering Boost[]

is another settlement buff worth using Biocaps on if you are hard at working on gathering. 8 hour gathering buff only costs 100 Biocaps and if you send all your marching slots (for gathering resources), you will get resources which cost hundreds of times more than the 100 Biocaps spent.

VIP points[]

It's worth spending more Biocaps to increase your VIP level and try to at least reach VIP level 4. VIP level 4 will unlock 10% construction speed bonus which will shorten the time it takes to grow your settlement in the long run. In addition, once you reach VIP 7 you would get extra troop formation and Legendary Hero Fragments and at VIP 8 an extra march slot. It will be good to use Biocaps to activate VIP status.

Conclusion[]

If you decide to spend Biocaps, it is worth it to spend them during an event which will give you some rewards. One of the events which require you to spend Biocaps is the Throwdown event, so if you plan on spending Biocaps why not get some rewards at the same time.
