Chiefs can establish long-term alliances with other chiefs or be part of one that already exists. When you join an alliance, you will work with other players to achieve shared goals. Aside from participating in events together, there are several other advantages of joining an alliance, such as providing support within the speed of research and construction, providing support in the reinforcement of allies whenever they are attacked by other alliances, being able to purchase good items from the alliance store, and also having a chance to receive teamwork crates. Therefore, keep in mind that joining an active alliance is vital in order to survive in the game!
Strength in numbers[]
As being mentioned above, you can either create a new fresh alliance or take a part with the existing alliance.
One significant benefit of teaming up is that your alliance members can help you in various activities throughout the game. Whether you're fighting tackling an infected, a player, or are compelled to defend yourself, an ally can help you by joining forces with you.
To create a new alliance[]
Anyone can create an alliance, but there is a requirement to create one. For example, if your headquarters is below level 8, you will have to spend 400 biocaps to form an alliance, and for a headquarter above level 9, you can create an alliance for free. Keep in mind that your alliance's name, tag, and motto will play an important role in attracting the players that you need in your alliance. You can also specify alliance recruitment settings (open recruitment means that other players can join your alliance without having to request it, whereas close recruitment means that players must request to join your alliance) and preferable language for your alliance.
Become a member of an existing alliance[]
You can select the 'Join Alliance' section if you wish to join an existing alliance. This will show you a list of alliances that you can join. Certain alliances will be excluded from the list if you do not meet their requirements. There are also situations where the alliance is interested in taking you as one of their members, so if you really want to be strong, choose the right alliance that can help you grow.
Once you are in an alliance, you will have access to the alliance chat and the alliance menu (this will be discussed later). However, if you decide to start a new alliance, you will have a special ability because you are the leader of the alliance and will have the access to the alliance settings.
Alliance Relocator![]
The first thing you should do once you join an alliance is use the Alliance Relocator. Players are given one for free early on in the game. Upon using the item, the player settlement is moved to where most other members of the alliance are gathered, or towards the Alliance Headquarters if present. The distance across states affects how fast troops may get to their location. It may be hard for your alliance members to send troops to you on time if you do not relocate near them. As a result, it is important that you relocate as near to the alliance area as possible.
Activities: What can allies help with?[]
Allies can help you with various activities throughout the game. Below is a list of all they can help with:
- Infected Fiend Rallies
- Facility Rallies
- Settlement defense/reinforcement
- Rally against opposition players.
- Event specific rallies
- Territory control.
- Research bonuses.
Alliance Menu[]
- Leader: The leader's name will be displayed here.
- Power: The total battle power of all members is the strength of the alliance.
- Members: For a fresh new alliance, the maximum number of members an alliance can have is 50, but it can be expanded by researching alliance tech and can achieve a maximum of 100 members. If the Alliance is full, you will not be able to add new members. As an R4/R5, it is important that you check the activity of your members to see if they are contributing to the alliance or just being a passive players.
- Alliance Level: A maximum level of 11 can be achieved by doing daily missions, donating to alliance tech as well as donating to Influencer Trap
- Alliance Achievement: All the achievements an alliance gets
Alliance Achievement | Description |

Now let's take a look at the main features in the alliance menu.
WAR MENU
In this menu you can see any incoming incoming attacks from an opponent or any of our alliance members. This is very helpful for alliance members, so if players are offline, they can reinforce each other. |
HERO SUPPORT
After finishing Explorer Trail 2 Challenge 7, you will be able to obtain Hero Support from your allies. Each Alliance member has the option of adding one Support Hero. Each time an ally deploys your Support Hero, you will gain 10 Honor Points, up to a maximum of 200 Honor Points daily. If your daily limit is reached, you will no longer be able to earn Honor through Hero Support. Each ally can provide Hero Support once per day. |
ALLIANCE CRATE:
|
ALLIANCE TERRITORY MENU
A menu that displays information on each building available to an alliance. Only the leader (R5) has the authority to move the headquarters and R4 has the authority to help R5 in the construction of Alliance Towers. More information about the alliance building can click here. |
Alliances have their own territory and research that can both be expanded and improved. Territory allows an alliance greater control over various sources across the wilderness, as well as opportunities to obtain powerful bonuses and other benefits for all of its members.
ALLIANCE STORE MENU
In the Alliance store, you can purchase some in-game items with a silver coin called the Alliance Honor. This Alliance Honor can be gained by donation to Alliance Tech. Alliance Honor is bound to every chief so do not worry about losing it even if you switch alliances. |
ALLIANCE TECH MENU
Donation can help your Alliance Research Tech, The tech is important to be completed and all members will be benefiting from it. |
Alliance research functions similarly to the research found in the Research Lab. The only differences is the funding process, and the fact that the bonuses are applied to all alliance members rather than a single player.
TIMER HELP
The Timer Help function is to reduce the timers of your allies and you can also earn Alliance Honor by clicking Timer Help. The Timer Help symbol is also visible above your assembly point, indicating that an ally has requested timer help. You need to upgrade your Assembly Point to increase the amount of Timer Help you may receive and the duration of each Timer Help. |
Morale Speedups[]
Earn morale points by participating in daily activities. When you achieve a certain number of morale points, you can get speedups for personal growth and instantly send speedups to your teammates! When reaching your current or daily limits, you will no longer be able to accept speedups from your allies. The limitations do not affect speedups from everyday activities.
Alliance Authority[]
Alliances have different ranks that form a hierarchy. Each rank of member has different abilities and responsibilities. Higher ranks have more permissions within the alliance and can perform various actions that lower ranked members can not do. The only way to reach higher ranks is being promoted. Players can only be promoted or demoted by players two ranks higher than them.
Currently, there are 6 ranks, starting at Rank 0, up to Rank 5.
Rank 5 - Leader
The rank 5 is the leader rank. There can only be one R5 member, that being the leader. The leader has full control over his/her alliance. R5 players have the following permissions:
Change alliance banner, change alliance tag, change alliance name, transfer leadership, disband alliance, build alliance headquarters, build alliance towers, kick members, edit message board, change open recruitment, manage invites, change motto, change language, use funds, begin alliance tech, promote member, demote member, mail all members, timer helps, resource support, view alliance members.
The leader cannot leave the alliance. If they do, the alliance is immediately disbanded. In order to leave the alliance without it disbanding, the leader must transfer leadership to another player first.
Rank 4
Rank 4 is much like a "co-leader" rank. It can do most things within the alliance, with a few differences from the leader. R4 players have the following permissions:
Build alliance towers, kick members, edit message board, change open recruitment, manage invites, change motto, change language, use funds, begin alliance tech, promote member, demote member, mail all members, timer helps, resource support, view alliance members, leave the alliance.
Rank 3
Rank 3 players are relatively normal players in terms of what they can do. The only perks that makes R3 stand out from R2 and below, is that these players can promote or demote members, something the lower ranks cannot do. R3 players have the following permissions:
Promote member, demote member, mail all members, timer helps, resource support, view alliance members, leave the alliance.
Rank 2
Rank 2 are similar to Rank 1 members. The only difference is that R2 members can mail all alliance members. R2 players have the following permissions:
Mail all members, timer helps, resource support, view alliance members, leave the alliance.
Rank 1
Rank 1 is the default rank. This is the rank all players are assigned upon joining the alliance. R1 players have the following permissions:
Timer helps, resource support, view alliance members, leave the alliance.
Rank 0
R0 players have the following permissions:
This rank is typically reserved for new allies who are waiting for the leader to approve their membership..

R5 may be unavailable for seven days or more. The members of the alliance will be able to replace the alliance leader by clicking on a button on the "Alliance Manage" panel, with a cost of 200 biocaps. But keep in mind that you need to stay in an alliance for a long period of time in order to use this feature.
Alliance Online Members[]
In the Alliance Members list, Online members are displayed over offline members regardless of their battle power level.
The list will be displayed as follows: *Online members (Higher BP to lower BP) then show *Offline members (Higher BP to lower BP).
Alliance Development[]
The alliance also shows its development progress. Green means that the alliance development is peaceful. The higher the development, the more active the alliance is. You can also see each alliance members development progress in the picture above showing how active they are for a day. Each members development progress resets everyday.
