After clicking Headquarter, Chiefs can access Hero Appointment.

Hero Appointment is a new feature that allows Heroes to be assigned to various positions and perform their roles and responsibilities while providing extra benefits and stats for your troops. Headquarters must be at least level 18 to use this feature.

Basic

Before we begin, it is critical to grasp the items or materials that will be used in this process. The three important items you'll need to upgrade your Hero Appointment Center are listed below:

Command Manual

Command Manual - A must item needed for hero enhancement.

Service Badge

Service Badge - Can be used to unlock Slots and upgrading position.

Tactical Guide

Tactical Guide - Covers a variety of useful tactics and command techniques. A must-have for military commanders.

As stated above, the Command Manual, Service Badge and Tactical Guide are required items for hero enhancement. The cost of these materials differs depending on the level of enhancement. Aside from the Command Manual Bundle, chiefs can obtain Hero Appointment items from Flash Duels , Dedication to Duty event, Duty Calls event and Rallying Infected Fiend with your alliance member. However, keep in mind that both the Dedication to Duty event and the Duty Call event have an end date, so make sure you participate and collect as much as you can.

What are slots and positions?

The Hero Appointment Center currently has 6 categories to fill: (1) Defensive Strategist, (2) Flag Bearer, (3) Vanguard (4) Military Advisor, (5) Reservoir Commando and (6) Reservoir Tactician. These 6 categories are called positions. Each position has three types of Slots: Infantry, Hunter, and Rider. Each has a corresponding hero that holds each slot. A bonus will be given if all three of the slots corresponding to a position are filled by heroes.

How to Unlock Slot and Position

When you first open the Hero Appointment feature, only the slots for Defensive Strategist will be available. The Chief can wait for the countdown to finish or skip the countdown by using a particular item (Service Badge) to unlock each slot. Upgrading the Position requires the desired enhancement level of all the slots ( Infantry, Hunter and Rider). For example, if you want to unlock the Defensive Strategist position, you need to enhance the Infantry to level 20, Hunter to level 20 and Rider to level 20. Every upgrade will give stat bonuses for the player.

NOTES The level of the stat bonus is solely determined by the hero's military rank. The rarity of the hero has no impact on the stat bonus. Select a max-level (General Rank), or the highest hero level you have, which will give you the best bonuses! (The slot bonuses only take effect when a hero is appointed to it). Heroes assigned to the corresponding slot will receive stat bonuses right away! There is currently no option to appoint resonating heroes.

Note: There are some levels (15~16, 25~26, 35~36, 45~46, 55~56,65~66, 75~76) where you must upgrade other hero slots before you can upgrade further.

Note: Having maxed out all three slots in a category grants 5% health or lethality. Maximum level necessitates 200 command manual and tactical guides for the old and new Hero appointment, respectively.
