This feature is found inside the Hero Precinct and has two sub-sections - Level Share and Level Reset.

Level Share[]

HTA Level Share

Level Sharing is an extremely useful tool provided to us to help level up our Heroes quickly and efficiently. By using the Hero Training Area (HTA), you are only required to upgrade 3 choice Heroes to take the 'Instructor' title. (Pro-tip: It helps to choose heroes that give a gathering boost as these Heroes are available early on and are quicker to max). Keep in mind before adding Heroes, the 'Instructor' role is assigned to your 3 highest ranked Heroes. So if you want 3 specific heroes to be there, make sure they're at the highest level before adding new heroes to the HTA slots.

Once you've chosen your Instructors, you will then be able to assign your remaining Heroes to the remaining available HTA slots. The beauty here is that Hero Rank does not affect the Levels of the Heroes you place in your HTA. For example: Chef is your Maxed lvl 80 instructor, and you place Becca, whose rank is Cadet. Becca will still be level 80 because that is your Instructors current level.

A few things to keep in mind as you go through this process:

  1. The level of Heroes entering the Hero Training Area will be raised to match the lowest of the 3 instructors.
  2. Heroes in the HTAs will not be able to use combat manuals to upgrade; however, Rank and Skills can still be upgraded.
  3. After the Heroes are removed from the HTA, that slot will enter a 24hr cooldown, which can be removed by using biocaps.
  4. Only Heroes who are in the settlement and not exploring or fighting can enter the Hero Training Area.
  5. Upgrade the Hero Precinct to unlock more HTAs.

Before Unlocking the Plasma level, the max number of HTAs is 15. Once you unlock Plasma Levels of your Settlement, you are then able to unlock more HTA slots for your Heroes:

  • Plasma 1 - 16 total slots
  • Plasma 2 - 17 total slots
  • Plasma 3 - 18 total slots
  • Plasma 4 - 19 total slots
  • Plasma 5 - 21 total slots
  • Plasma 6 - 24 total slots
  • Plasma 7 - 27 total slots
  • Plasma 8 - 30 total slots
  • Plasma 9 - 34 total slots
  • Plasma 10 - 39 total slots

Level Reset[]

Level Reset

Level Reset is helpful because it shows you which Heroes that currently have leveling experience applied to them. There should always be at least 3 Heroes here since they are your Instructors. You can have more than 3 showing here as it's a basic overview of all heroes with EXP greater than 0. The number shown has many factors based on personal gameplay strategy and will still show Heroes you have in the HTAs currently. This sub area gives you the option to reset your Heroes back to level 0 and that Hero will gain a cooldown before they can be reset again. Each reset will increase the cooldown over time. When you have confirmed to reset a hero, you will recieve an in-game Mail confirmation containing a short list of the Combat Manuals you get back from the reset. These items are sent directly to your backpack.
