Heroes are the leaders of your army.
They give a lot of benefits to your march when used.

Classification[]

Heroes can be classified three ways;

Based on type.
Based on rarity.
Based on benefit.


Based on Type[]

Brawler[]

Brawler icon

Brawler is a group of heroes that lead your infantry troops. In explorer, their position is at the forefront allowing them to move to multiple places for attacking purposes. However, their range of attack is small. Brawler has the greatest Health stat among the three hero types. Infected will generally attack the brawler first.

Marksman []

Marksman icon

Marksman is a group of heroes that lead your hunter troops. In explorer, their position is on the left. Their range of attack is greater compared to the brawler. Marksman has the lowest Health stat but they have the highest Attack stat. Typically, Infected will finish off the marksman after the brawler is defeated.

Scout []

Scout icon
Scout is a group of heroes that lead your rider troops. In explorer, they are on the right. Just like a marksman, the scout has a long attack range. Scout is the last target after the infected defeat the brawler and marksman.

Based on Rarity []

The rarity shows how difficult it is to locate the hero and how strong he/she is. This hero classification is distinguished by color.

Rare []

Rare hero blank

These heroes are distinguished by the color blue. Rare heroes are the most common (you will find them all at the beginning of the State of Survival story) and have low power. With only two heroes in this group, rare heroes is the smallest of all the rarity classifications. All rare heroes are included in the gathering benefit group.

Epic []

Epic hero blank

These heroes are distinguished by the color purple. Epic Heroes are mostly obtained through hero search and intel mission and has medium power. This group of heroes mostly specializes in killing infected.

Legendary []

Legendary hero blank
These heroes are distinguished by the color yellow. These heroes are the most powerful ones. Most legendary heroes can be obtained through events such as Value Vouchers and Ray's Place. They can also be found by purchasing bundles.

Based on Benefit[]

The hero has basic benefits. As mentioned above, legendary heroes have two specialities and can be included in two groups.

Development

A group of heroes who provides buff in settlement development and troop training.

Gather

The group of heroes who have the gathering buff.

Infected

A group of heroes who specialize in killing infected.

Patrol

A group of heroes who specialize in the base defense.

Rally

This group of heroes specializes in providing buffs for rallies.

Siege

A group of heroes who specialize in attacking enemy bases.

Locating Heroes[]

Enough fragment to locate hero

In order to use a hero, you must first locate him/her. To locate a hero, you need to collect enough Hero Fragments of the specific Hero. Each Hero needs a different amount of Hero Fragments to be located. Generally, they require 10-40 fragments in order to locate the hero.

To tell how many fragments are required, find the hero in the “Not located” list on the hero page.

On the bottom right of each hero in this section, you can see how many hero fragments are required to locate the hero and how many you already have.

Once you have obtained enough fragments, click the “locate” button.

Hero Progression[]

To make a strong hero, you will need to increase their rank and level. Each rank allows you to level up the hero until a certain point. The max Hero level and Hero Rank you can achieve is determined by the level of your Hero Precinct.

Upgrading your hero rank requires General Hero FragmentHero Fragments and Legendary Hero Badge nobgHero Badges.

Upgrading your hero level requires Combat manual Combat Manual.

Hero Skills[]

Upgrading your skills level requires Hero Skill Book Hero Skill Books.

Hero skills
After locating a hero, the number of Hero Fragments and Hero Badges needed to rank up is the same for all Heroes. Please check Hero Ranks for upgrade information.


Limitless Progression[]

Once you reach Hero Generation 7, you will unlock heroes that have received a reverse engineered human genome to develop a reagent that transforms the human body.

Limitless System: Upgrade skills, transform appearances, and upgrade strategies. Upgrade Limitless Talents to enable new skills and significantly improve stats!

Gen7 limitless

To upgrade Limitless Hero skills, rank and talents; you will need Limitless hunter silhouette Limitless Hero Capsules and Completion Potion variant NoBG Completion Potions.

Card5

Unlock the identities of your Heroes by searching for their exclusive items. These will increase their Familiarity and Exploration Stats.

Hero items

If you want to get the exclusive item in a Hero's Profile, you must explore their story-driven Hero Story mode and Hero Challenge mode.
