Berserk[]
Skills that are good at dealing massive damage and reducing the enemy’s healing effect.
Counter: Resilience
Control []
Skills that are good at controlling enemy Heroes and dealing continuous damage from burning, bleeding, and poison.
Counter: Berserk
Resilience []
Skills that are good at healing and damage reduction. Mainly passive skills that cannot easily be controlled.
Counter: Control

Based on Rarity []
The rarity shows how difficult it is to locate the hero and how strong he/she is. This hero classification is distinguished by color.
Rare []
These heroes are distinguished by the color blue. Rare heroes will be found at the beginning of the State of Survival story and have low power. With only two heroes in this group, rare heroes is the smallest of all the rarity classifications. All rare heroes are included in the gathering benefit group.
Epic []
These heroes are distinguished by the color purple. Epic Heroes are mostly obtained through hero search and intel mission and has medium power. This group of heroes mostly specializes in killing infected or doing hero searches.
Legendary []
These heroes are distinguished by the color yellow and are the most powerful ones. Most legendary heroes can be obtained through events such as Value Vouchers, Ray's Place or can also be found by purchasing bundles, completing hero searches and participating in World Events.
Based on Benefit[]
The hero has basic benefits. As mentioned above, legendary heroes have two specialities and can be included in two groups.
- Only Becca is part of this group. She provides buff in settlement development and troop training.
- The group of heroes who have the gathering buff.
- A group of heroes who specialize in killing infected.
- A group of heroes who specialize in the base defense.
- This group of heroes specializes in providing buffs for rallies.
- A group of heroes who specialize in attacking enemy bases.

Locating Heroes[]
In order to use a hero, you must first locate him/her. To locate a hero, you need to collect enough
Hero Fragments of the specific Hero. Each Hero needs a different amount of Hero Fragments to be located. Generally, they require 10-40 fragments in order to locate the hero.
On the bottom right of each hero in this section, you can see how many hero fragments are required to locate the hero and how many you already have.
Once you have obtained enough fragments, click the “locate” button.

Limitless Progression[]
The limitless system allows you to upgrade skills, transform appearances, and upgrade strategies. This allows you to enable new skills and improve the hero's statistics.
Each hero’s Limitless Level can be upgraded 20 times using 
limitless chips.
By upgrading the Limitless Level, you will increase the heroes’ statistics for Attack, Health, and March Capacity.
Limitless Rank upgrades has two parts. The first part has 6 different talents that you can upgrade:
Rookie Limitless
Physique Boost I
Physique Boost II
Endurance Training I
Endurance Training II
Skill Renovator
These upgrades will unlock the following things once maxed.

You will also be able to start upgrading the new skills.
Upgrading hero skills, you can use either the specific hero fragments, general hero fragments, limitless capsules, or limitless potions to upgrade hero skills. Each skill can be upgraded to level 10, however, for level 10 you will need to use 
limitless syringe, and you will also need to have all talents completely researched.
Once all the skill refinements are upgraded, you will also unlock a new hero marching animation and skins.
Unlock the identities of your Heroes by searching for their exclusive items. These will increase their Familiarity and Exploration Stats.

Gene Recombination[]
Perform genetic recombination to randomly gain four different abilities.
Abilities come in two rarities: Common and Rare.
Advanced Recombination guarantees a rare ability, with a significantly higher chance of getting high-quality abilities compared to basic recombination.

Hero Add-ons[]
Two Tempest Arms can be equipped on each Hero, one for Attack and one for Defense, significantly boosting their Power. Tempest Arms currently come in three qualities: Rare, Epic, and Legendary. Each Arm offers fixed stat bonuses and comes with additional stats and unique skill for the specific Arm. Each Arm unlocks one stat bonus upon acquisition. Additional stat bonuses are unlocked at levels 4, 7, and 10 through Arm enhancement. Tempest Arms of Epic quality or higher can be ascended to unlock Arm skills after reaching Lvl 10.

Each pet has a hero type that they can be assigned to whether it be Rider, Infantry, or Hunter. Upon obtaining a pet, the potential of its attack, defense, health, and agility stats are randomized within certain range. Raising a pet's level or star level increases the stats of its corresponding troop type. Higher potential means more stat bonuses gained. A pet must be assigned to a hero of a specific type for its stat bonuses and skills to take effect. Learn more about Pets here: Pets
