M.I.G.O is on strike again! This new season of M.I.G.O will bring more variety as we get to explore the "Secret Experimental Base" and "Treasure Hunt" event. Do not miss it!
What's new?
The duration of the event has been reduced from 12 weeks to 10 weeks.
All task requirements for the world event have been reduced
A "sweep" feature has been added to underground exploration to help reduce the amount of time required during gameplay.
The amount of Glory Points and information that can be easily earned, as well as the increase in the rewards available in the M.I.G.O Strikes Back Store. This means that despite the shorter duration of the season, players can still receive valuable rewards and sufficient information points.
Even if a player can't keep the top 30 for the entire 10-week of the season, that player still has a chance to win the skin.
The search for supplies also improved. It will no longer be that difficult for players to find rewards, and each player will have chance to find the March skin / Advanced HQ skins directly through the hunt.
The stats provided by the stations have also been increased and players can now review all the benefits provided by the stations at the start of the new season.

During This event there will be three stages:
Stage 1: M.I.G.O Strikes Back
Stage 2: The Road to Truth
Stage 3: Hope of Redemption
Because the duration has been shortened, each stage will last at least less than a month, and each stage will have weekly goals, similar to previous YITH event, If you are able to complete the goals, you will get 5x M.I.G.O Glory each week, as well as a special item. Goals can be met by obtaining M.I.G.O Info from weekly tasks. The M.I.G.O Info and M.I.G.O Glory earned throughout the event can be spent in the M.I.G.O Store.
As you accomplish the weekly objectives during the event, you will be able to acquire materials to upgrade your M.I.G.O Station. Materials can be obtained during the weekly Treasure Quest Event.

Week 1 - Breading Fear[]
One, two, three... His steps grow heavier and heavier, his vision blurs. The wound in his abdomen, after the initial pain, has now gone numb. He can only walk forwad so much farther, with each additional step his hope of being rescued grows a little greater. Eventually, he collapses. In a trance, he feels a swelling and writhing inside his abdomen. Before he passes out, he sees the wriggling abomination, a M.I.G.O larva, crawling forth his abdomen.
Is this terrifying creature just a random find, or the harbinger of a coming storm?
After a long period of quiet, M.I.G.O larva have reappeared. It was just yesterday that those giant creatures sowed their ruin and devastation. Is everything, the suffering and turmoil, about to start all over again? No one knows.
Perhaps only one who is already deep in the throes of grief can find the answer...
Week 2 - Grieving Soul[]
"Dad, since you passed, things have been going in the right direction. The Infected are mostly under control, I found a new home, and those bastards at GigaCorp paid the price. But I still can't seem to be happy, the world's not fair. Why did it have to be you? Why did it need to be your sacrifice in exchange for all of this? Why my... dad...
I thought that by training every day, immersing myself in the war, I could rid myself of the sadness,, but today the bugs, they've reappeared. I wasn't scared or even angry dad, I just thought of you."

Much time had elapsed since Wallace's death, but his daughter Chloe is still racked with grief, unable to let go. Even her brutal regime of training day after day hasn't brought her relief.
The appearance of the M.I.G.O larva brought it all rushing back. She was horrified to face those vile insects again, so she refused the doctor's request for help.
Week 3 - Comeback[]
After that first larva appeared, more and more sightings of monster were reported, and the survivors, who had already endured so much, were once again in a state of panic. The M.I.G.O creatures had made a comeback.
Fear, anger, despair, these spread across the land once again. Will survivors be able to hold on this time?
Research on the new monsters is still going nowhere, and by the day more and more monsters threaten the safety of the settlement. Everything is slipping back into darkness. Was our sacrifice in the struggle against M.I.G.O all in vain?
Week 4 - Letter from the past[]
A seeker of truth in the laboratory, or a heroic warrior on the battlefield? Chloe chose the latter identity. She refused to engage in scientific researches that evokes her father, but one after another, the M.I.G.O monsters keep bringing back those banished memories.
Perhaps only fighting can erase her grief, anger and resentment--only the wounds of battle allow Chloe to temporarily forget the ones in the her psyche.
After the blood and smoke, a letter has been delivered into Chloe's hand. No one knows who authored this letter nor what it contained. Those words are the feelings and sufferings of another life. Where will they lead Chloe and the Final Hope? An uncertain future approaches.

Week 1 - The father's will[]
"Dear Chloe,
This is my 13th day of captivity and the 5th letter i have tried to smuggle out to you. I don't know if these should be called farewell letters or diary entries... Maybe they'll never reach you, but i still hope that one day, you might be able to see my words.
...Perhaps Ripley is preparing to kill me, i'm ready sacrificce myself, only... I worry about you, my little Chloe... if it must be that i leave you, don't let grief eat you up. Pun on a brave face, just like you did when you were a kid, always beaming a smile at the whole wide world..."
"Dear Dr.Yamazaki,
I am sorry that i rejected your request for assistance. Since my father's death, it's been...hard. I've completed the testing of the new M.I.G.O larval sample. the results are detailed in the appendix below.
...I can confirm that the sample is indeed a M.I.G.O larva, but it's unmistakable: there's an artificially modified interval in the genetic sequence. This interval has characteristics that are similar to those of Infected. As far i know, GigaCorp's G.Z. Lab was conducting related research, but no substantial progress has been made. I suggest a raid on the compound to find out more..."
Week 2 - Immediate action[]
Outside of Settlements, more and more transformed monsters appeared, and with them they brought endless death, fear and despair.
The survivors cursed, hid, prayed, and finally could only pin their hopes on that elite squad. Sarge, Becca, Rusty, Ghost... Once again the Heroes set out to the G.Z Lab, the former genetic research center of GigaCorp.
They hoped to pull back the curtain and reveal a fragment of the dark truth that lay behind.
"It's horrible. I've never seen anything like this.
They have the resilience and aggressiveness of the Infected, with insect organs, pincers, armor... all "spliced" into one. Our captain said the organs were the same as the ones in those M.I.G.O monsters. I'm not sure, but... I watched one of them take the captain's leg off with a scorpion pincer. He's still alive, and thankfully he doesn't seem to have any signs of infection! Hoping we can get home safely."

Week 3 - Old friend[]
Following in her father's tracks, Chloe kept searching for possible clues. Along the way, she encountered countless survivors on the move, unable to resist the monstrous onslaught they could only flee.
Chloe alone moved in the opposite direction, swimming against the flow of human flotsam, dodging the monsters as she trekked deeper.
Perhaps in the dark, Wallace still watches over his daughter. When Chloe was desperate in the face of that terrifying Infected, suddenly a small hidden door opened. From within, one of Wallace's men looked out at her: "Child, I know where are you going".
Chloe had finally received her direction. Perhaps, despite death, the bonds of kinship can guide one onto the right path.
Week 4 - Hot pursuit[]
When the squad arrived at GigaCorp's lab, the secret camp which was believed to be the birthplace of the transformed monsters, it was in a state of complete chaos. Key experimental equipment and data records were missing. From the remnants of some documents left behind, it was concluded that the lab had indeed conducted research using cloning tech. From the bullet holes and traces of heavy objects having dragged over the site, it also seemed that this lab had been attacked several months prior. The mob that had ransacked the place had disappeared...
The trail hits a dead-end. Does it all just end in futility?
"...Yes, it's Ripley. I saw it, he's the one directing all this! They raided the place and are searching room by room. My colleagues have been taken. I think they'll get to me in no time. I can't just die in vain. The bastards...
Whoever discovers this recording, take it back to GigaCorp. The company will make these murderers pay. Those bastards are trying to steal our experimental equipment. They don't know that the signal generator in those devices will guide our soldiers to the lair, we'll feed them all to the Infected..."

Week 1 - Trap love[]
"Dear daughter,
I've lost track of how many days of captivity this is... I have sent a message asking for help, I hope you've been rescued. I can feel the virus and the drugs working inside me. The pain is... breathtaking, I don't know what I'll end up becoming... Ripley is extremely dangerous. Science is just a means to his insane ends. He has the nature of a maniacal lunatic. Be careful with him!
...Chloe, you must survive!"
Chloe finally found the secret stronghold where her father has been held. There, she found the letters her father had left her, and met someone she had never expected: Ripley.
It turned out that it was all merely one of Ripley's plots, meant to lure Chloe here and make her a subject in his experiments!
Week 2 - Ripley's past[]
In that battle not long ago, after Wallace pressed the detonation button, the M.I.G.O monsters were blown to pieces, but Ripley escaped by hiding in the subterranean secret passages.
Subsequently, Ripley went incognito and infiltrated the Holy Wrath, witnessing the failure of the Divine Plan.
However from this point on, Ripley was a changed man, a believer. He decided to use the "God's way" to save the world from the chaos.
After a fierce firefight, the Final Hope utterly destroyed Ripley's lab. Chloe herself faced the terrifying Bloodmangle and enacted her revenge.
At the last moment, Ripley pressed the switch. In an instant, fire engulfed everything. The Heroes evacuated the lab seconds before the stronghold collapsed, burying Ripley forever.
