"Occupy the Research Lab and Fight for your Alliance!"


This was previously a world-famous crystal mine, known for its enormous size and low-cost materials. After the Outbreak, the mines mainly were abandoned. However, a massive asteroid destroyed the central mine, causing major disruptions. The meteorite's radiation affected the colour of the crystals, turning them purple. Wandering infections have also gone down. People began to notice that the Infected near the mine were sedentary and less likely to attack. The infection-resistant characteristics of these purple crystals have been proven after numerous studies. Due to its rarity, amethyst has become highly desired, regardless of how transient this detrimental impact may be.

A new event has arrived in the State of Survival, bringing a whole new world and gameplay to explore and get our brains around with strategies and tactics with your alliance members!

Basic Rules and Guidelines[]

  • Top 10 Alliances in a state are eligible to play the Mining mayhem.
  • The event last for 4 days. and is open for 1 hour per day.
  • The alliance must be at least level 6 and have at least 20 members.
  • During the Registration Stage, the Alliance management can choose the best time for the battle.
  • Hospital-unlimited.
  • The Mining Mayhem battlefield consists of 2 Divisions, each containing 4 Alliances.

  • From day 1 to day 3, the four Alliances within a Division earn points by competing for Research Labs, and the Alliance with the most points advances to the finals.
  • On day 4, the Alliances with the highest points in their respective Divisions will compete for the R5 Amethyst Research Hub, with the winner becoming the Mining Mayhem event's champion.

Energy Tower's Rules[]

  • Next to the Research Lab, there is an Energy Tower. Amethyst crystals will spawn in the vicinity of Research Lab when the Energy Tower is activated.

  • Energy Tower is a neutral building that can not be occupied. All alliance members share the same charging process.

  • Players can charge the Energy Tower by collecting Amethyst crystals. When the energy progress bar reaches a certain value, powerful skills will become accessible.

Occupational Rule[]

  • After gaining control of Research Lab, the alliance leader can appoint any of the members as captain. The appointed member will be chosen to build Auxiliary buildings linked to the main one in order to gain additional bonuses.
  • Each Research Lab has access to just one Economic Auxiliary and one Military Auxiliary building. For each Auxiliary building provides 5 different buffs to alliance members. Tips: Captain, please keep an eye on the building capacity and ensure that it is always reinforced.


Relocation Rules

Targeted Relocation: 1 charge replenished every 15minutes, up to maximum of 3 chargers.

Relocation Rules[]

Only the Targeted Relocation Skill can be used to relocate in Mining Mayhem. You cannot move around normally using biocaps and relocators in your backpack. This skill will recharge every 15 minutes and up to a maximum of 3 charges. Chief can go anywhere on the map except to the division on the other side.

Note: You can activate these skills in the Skill button while you are inside the Mining Mayhem Map.

Registration[]

  • R4 and R5 can select 3 out of 5 start times in the order of priority during the Registration Stage. Affiliates that do not make a selection by the end of registration will automatically be assigned three start times.
  • Time Priority can be modified during the registration stage. Registration Lasts for one day only.
  • Top 10 alliances in the state can register. (Based on the rankings at the beginning of the matching stage).
  • No limit on alliance member's participants. However, an Alliance must be at level 6 and have at least 20 members to qualify, as stated in the rules.


Matching[]

Alliances are matched according to their Matchmaking Ratings (based on the strength of the top 30 active Alliance members).The matching Stage will last for one (1) day. During this stage, you will be able to see the alliances you are going to compete within the Knockout Round (4 Alliances in each division), the daily opening of the Lab challenge (in UTC), and your Alliance's current Ranking Tier (Rookie, Veteran, Elite, Master) (Rookie, Veteran, Elite, Master).

Game Play[]

Before entering the battlefield, Chiefs participating in the battle must ensure the following:

  • No troops in Blast Shelter.
  • No troops marching or reconning.
  • No Settlement reinforcements.
  • Settlement is not burning.
  • Settlement is not the target of a rally or attack.
  • Settlement is located in the Wilderness of this state.
  • Not on the Joint Exercises team

When entering the battlefield for the first time, the player's current troops (except the wounded ones) are duplicated, after which your number of troops can only be increased through training. Dead and wounded troops on the battlefield do not affect the player's "real" troops outside the event.

The Map[]

The map of Mining Mayhem displays the locations of the buildings and roads. The road course will act as a guide for determining the next building your alliance can occupy. (The map resembles a connect-the-dots puzzle; you cannot wander aimlessly; you must first control a building before choosing which building to occupy next for your purpose.)


The map is divided into two (2) sides. First Division will be the left side and 2nd Division will be the right side.

The Battle Stage is divided into 4 days:
Day 1: Mine Exploration
Day 2: Grand Showdown
Day 3: Final Moment
Day 4: Battle Glory.

Every day the Stage lasts for an hour. Chiefs will be given 55-minutes Battle stage (before each Research Lab closes) and 5 mins extra time (before the event automatically kicked you out of the map), this extra time can be used to heal your troops and prepare for the next day.

During the 55-minutes Battle Stage , you can take full control of an R1 | R2 | R3 | R4 | R5 Research Lab by occupying it for 10 | 20 | 30 | 40 | 40 consecutive minutes respectively. If no Alliance meets the requirements at the end of the Battle Stage, the alliance with the longest cumulative occupation time takes control of the Research Lab.

Each day, your alliance will be assigned clear objectives to earn points and rewards. You can earn additional points and rewards by completing solo tasks as well.

After the Final Moment Battle (Day 3), Leaderboard Ranking and Rewards will be sent out in Alliance mail.
Note: Rewards differ depending on a State's Aircraft Generation.

Knock Out Round[]

Four (4) alliances will compete in each map division. Upon entering the Mining Mayhem Map, Chiefs will be automatically ported to their alliance's research lab. Each alliance can occupy a building and move to the next building as soon as the mining map opens and the first building has been controlled.

Day 1 : Mine Exploration

You can take control of a Research Lab on Day 1 by eliminating the monster. The sooner you start, the more time you'll have to compete for the next Research Lab position. The map's path will indicate which building you can occupy next. Only R1, R2, and R3 Buildings are available to capture on Day 1.

The encircled (R1) Research labs (in each division)in the image below are where each alliance will start for Day 1. This will be the home base of each alliance.

Monster Information[]

When a monster health drops down below 80% / 50% / 10% a skill item will drop near the Research Lab, which you can pickup like the puddles in Reservoir Raid.

Note: The monster is only available to defeat during Day 1

Day 2 : Grand Showdown | Day 3: Final Moment
These Stages would be the continuation of Day 1, however, the Research Lab 1 will not be challenged, this will be your safe zone, all else would be open at the same time ( R2, R3 and R4 Research Lab.) You will have to defend the research lab that your alliance had occupied during Day 1. You can occupy as many research labs. as you can to get more points, provided that the roads are connected.

The more research labs you successfully control. The higher the points you get, the better your chance of making it to the Final Battle.

Battle Glory[]

Day 4: Battle Glory
Following each day of battle, your alliance will be awarded points based on the number of building controls. The alliance with the most points on both sides at the end of the fight will face off in a final battle for control of the R5 Amethyst Research Hub, and the winner will be crowned the champion of this Mining Mayhem event.

The Amethyst Research Hub / R5 building can be found at the center of the map. The Hub resembles the Capital, with one central structure surrounded by four towers over which Chiefs must fight for 55 minutes while gathering amethyst crystals. Other research laboratories will remain closed during the battle and will be safe on your side. The auxiliary buildings will provide bonuses, so make sure to defend them.


Amethyst crystals will reappear every 15 minutes and must be collected to power the energy tower connected to the Hub, granting the occupant more boosts and skills.

The ownership of this research lab is awarded to the alliance that has occupied it for forty (40) minutes.

Note: Alliances that do not qualify for the Final Battle on Day 4 can only gain points from Day 1 to Day 3. They can still enter the Mining Mayhem map, attack settlements and auxiliary buildings, and spectate the Champions battle.


Result Stage[]

This Stage lasts for (2) two days. In here, you can view the battle history and the Champion Alliances from the Left and the Right Division.

Each Research Lab gives points for successful occupation accumulated for the alliance total.

Note: Alliance points are based on buildings while Solo points are for the crates. When two Alliances have the same number of points, the Alliance with Matchmaking Rating gets ranked higher.


As stated in the Game Mechanics, Auxiliary Buildings can give your alliance members additional boost while playing inside the mining mayhem. These buildings can only be built if you have controlled the building, and can only be built by a Research Lab Captain assigned by an R4 or R5.
Once assigned as a Research Lab Captain, you can build auxiliary buildings by clicking the Overview icon, which shows information about the buildings you are occupying and have already controlled.

You are only allowed to construct 1 Economic and 1 Military per research lab as stated in the rule, with a limit of 2 Alliance Buildings of the same type.


Tips:

  • Build your auxiliary buildings around the area where it is not very visible to the enemy.
  • On Day 1, construct your Regen Lab and Officer School buildings or whatever building priority you require in your home base (R1), because it is safer there.
  • You do not have to win and take all of the buildings; simply accumulate enough points to advance to the Final Battle.
  • Pay attention to the buildings you occupy. On Days 2 and 3, controlling the enemy R2 will prevent them from fighting the R3/R4 research buildings because their path to those buildings will be blocked.

Key Information[]

  • Mining Mayhem is available to the state's top 10 alliances in a state.
  • The Alliance must be at least level 6 and have at least level 20 members to qualify.
  • Mining Mayhem is an eight-day event. This includes a one-day registration stage, a one-day matching stage, and a four-day fighting stage (3 days for the research labs battle and day 4 for the final battle between the top alliances of each division). The final stage, which is the result stage, will last two days.
  • If a new member joins the alliance after registration has closed, he or she will not be able to attend the event.
  • No one can leave or be kicked out of the Alliance between the time the teams are matched and the end of the event.
  • The research labs become available as soon as the mining map is opened.
  • While the stage is running, you can leave and return the mining mayhem map whenever you like.
  • The mining mayhem map has a hospital capacity of 99.99 trillion.
  • When you first join the battlefield, your current troops (except the wounded ones) are replicated, and your troop count can only be increased by training inside the Mining Mayhem map. Outside of the event, dead and injured troops on the battlefield do not affect the player's actual forces. ("What happens in Mining Mayhem remains in Mining Mayhem.")
    Note: You can also train troops while inside the Mining Mayhem map.
  • On the mining map, the new battle engine is in use.
  • All honour and buffs work except for gathering buffs.
  • Everyday each Battle Stage lasts for 1 hour. ( 55-minutes for the Research Lab fight and 5-minutes extra time before you are forced to be ported outside of the event).
  • You can't use relocators and biocaps in your backpack, teleportation is limited. (you are given 3 free relocations with a 15-minutes cooldown)
  • You cannot perform settlement relocation, garrison, or attacks in an enemy Spawn Zone.
  • During Day 4, Battle Glory, non-participants can spectate the battle at the R5 Hub.
  • You cannot enter the Mining Mayhem map if you have troops on the move (marching, recon, gathering, reinforcing, etc.).
  • Capital Clash is identical to the Amethyst R5 Research Hub (Center Building). It is, however, only 55-minutes Battle Stage. Only two coalitions can compete for the Hub.
  • The first Alliance to occupy the R5 Building for 40 minutes will rule it. This Alliance will be the Mining Mayhem's Champion.
  • You will receive an alliance mail if your Alliance qualified for the Final Battle.
  • Mining mayhem happens once every 4 weeks.
