Alliance research (also known as alliance tech) helps you and members of your alliance
research important new tech, benefitting all members in the alliance. Tech is divided into 3
categories: Development, Territory and Combat.
To increase alliance tech, every member of the alliance can donate resources to further
increase the level of the tech. You will find alliance tech here:
There are two versions of alliance tech. Older states and the test server of the game PTR
use the first and older version, while newer states use a different version. In this guide, we
will focus on the second newer version. However, they are very similar and they both have
the same concept, which is developing you as a player and alliance. The same upgrades
can have multiple levels.
Development:[]
When upgrading tasks in the development page, you’re choosing to further upgrade and
improve your own base development. You can pick various options such as increasing
alliance members, timer helps, training speed, construction and research speed, healing
speed, resource gathering speed and finally unlocking plain and oasis march. Plain and
oasis march are important at later stages of the game and with them unlocked, you will be
able to further explore the wilderness.
Territory:[]
When upgrading tasks in the territory page, you’re picking to further upgrade and improve
mostly your alliance territory. This includes alliance towers, which are buildings placed to
increase your alliance influence. You can increase the amount of tower built in this section as
well as the durability of your alliance buildings, burning speed and construction speed. Other
upgrades include increasing your march speed and warehouse capacity.
Battle:[]
When upgrading tasks in the battle page, you’re choosing to further upgrade and improve
mostly your combat power. This means everything related to attacking or defending yourself
which includes your troop's health, lethality, attack, defence, march speed and rally capacity.
How to tell which tech to do first:[]
Donating to the recommended or priority tech is important for two reasons: It helps the whole
alliance work together and focus on one research at a time. Donating to the recommended
tech gives you 20% more donation rewards
If you're an R3, R2 or R1:[]
You will always want to donate to what's recommended by your alliance R4 or R5. You’ll find a recommended notification over the specific tech that looks like the following:
If you're an R4 or R5:[]
Going for Development first is a no-brainer, and especially the Alliance Members tech. Development will help your alliance members grow faster. However, to be able to expand your territory and research the bigger tech levels, you will also need to do other tech in territory. Doing some battle tech could also make things easier, so do not only focus on development! Coordinate with your R4s and R5 and do what you feel is best!

Donation Chances:[]
Every 10 minutes, every alliance member gets one donation chance (Stackable to 25 max).
You stop earning donation chances once you accumulate 25 donation chances. One donation chance can earn you the previously mentioned reward for up to 20 times the reward per donation chance. A donation chance costs either food, wood, metal, or gas, but biocaps may also be used. Keep an eye on your biocaps, you want to avoid spending too much donating since the Biocap price increases after every donation, but resets back to 10
biocaps the next day. Donating with biocaps is a great way to climb the donation ranking leaderboard and get the top prize.
Ranking:[]
Donation rewards will be issued daily or weekly based on the donation rankings. If the total number of alliance members or the number of players who have reached the donation target is less than three, none of the members will be able to receive the rewards.

Can we run out of things to research and get rewards?:[]
In the battle tab, you can find a Sustainability tech which has an unlimited research requirement, so you will never run out of tech to donate to! Make sure you donate to this last.
