BACKGROUND STORY

It wasn't always easy for Trisha Rangan growing up. Money was tight and her dreams of med school were scoffed at by her family who insisted her goal should be to marry a doctor instead.

But she studied intensely and worked all the hours she could to save money, eventually winning over her family in the process. Her years in the ER meant she was used to stressful medical situations, but not even the busiest ER could have prepared her for the chaos of the outbreak and subsequent turmoil.

Trish has a better relationship with Doctor Yamazaki than the majority of the other Settlement members, and lends a hand with his research when she's not needed in the field. All Trish has ever wanted to do was help other people, but if you try to harm her or anyone in the Settlement, she'll kill you in a heartbeat.
